I am thrilled that my childhood passion for animals has transformed in to a profession where I get to work with Pets and Pet Parents to strengthen bonds, and set our Dogs up for success.

After completing my education in the Midwest where I studied environmental sociology, I returned to my hometown of Napa. While I loved exploring the ways people interact with the environment, there was no clear path forward for me. I spent the next few years trying a variety of different things. Even thought I had dipped my toe in to training before, I didn’t dream I could end up working with animals as a profession.

That first foray in to training was with my cat Baz, who I adopted when she was 8 weeks old. I knew she would have multiple flights and moves in her future, and wanted to make sure she was comfortable traveling. I worked on getting her travel trained, and taught her some fun tricks along the way! Now at 11 years old she’s flown over 20 times and moved cross country twice. She still travels with me and loves going up to Tahoe. She opened my eyes to the possibilities in training, and just how much fun it can be.

When the opportunity to work as a dog trainer fell in to my lap I remembered how much fun working with Baz had been, so I jumped on it. It was love at first Sit!

I look forward to working with you and your furry family members!
